The 5th Thesis Seminar of Law and Public Policy Institute Held Successfully

On March 15th, the 5th Thesis Seminar of Law and Public Policy Institute held successfully in conference room, Koguan Building of Peking University Law School.
The seminar was joined by distinguished guests including Wanchun, director of Legal Policy Research of the Supreme People's Court of the People’s Republic of China, Liu Zhongxiang, vice secretary of Management Bureau of Nongovernmental Organizations, Zhong Dongbo, vice director of Beijing Health and Family Planning, Guo Wenqing, chief lawyer of Minsheng Bank, Ou Shujun, vice professor School of International Studies of Renmin University. Besides, Professor Jiang Shigong, Xue Jun, Chen Duanhong, Wang Cheng, research fellow Li Honghai, associate professor Hou Meng, Jin Jinping, and Chen Ruoying attended the seminar. The seminar was hosted by associate professor Houmeng who also is the vice director of PKU Law Studies Institute.
The seminar took the way of student presentation and supervisor review. According to the theme of thesis, the seminar divided into two parts. The first part Law and Public Policy was hosted by associate professor Jin Jinping. Masters graduate student of grade 2012 including Zhao Dawei, Yan Junjun, Cui Qianru, Ye Hantao, Guo Mengdi, He Dingding, Xu Le, Zhang Tingting and Shen Si introduced theses themselves. Later on, Supervisor Chen Ruoying, LiHonghai, Wang Cheng, Guo wenqing, Liu Zhongxiang,Zhong Dongbo and Jin Jinping commented on these theses.
The second part Law and Economy was hosted by associate professor Ou Shujun. Masters graduate student of grade 2012 including Wu Mei, Li Lei, Cheng Bingxiao, Liu Jizhou, Yaoyao, Wushuang and Li Yuchen introduce theses themselves. Later on, Supervisor commented on these theses. Teachers gave suggestion on the title, logic and format of the theses, and teachers also offered lots of material to students according to their experience.
Finally, Professor Jiang Shigong, director of PKU Law Studies Institute, made a summary of the seminar.
