“Laws and Lies: How to Stop Laws Turning into Lies” Held Successfully

At 19:00, Dec 21st, 2014, “Laws and lies: How to stop laws turning into lies” Seminar organized by Alumni’s Office of Peking University Law School held successfully.
Keynote speaker of this seminar is Prof. Chen Zhonglin, also a 1982-graduate from Peking University Law School. Guest speaker Prof. He Weifang joined the discussion.
During the first part of the seminar, Prof. Chen talked about the fundamental theory of “stopping laws turning into lies”, which is common sense. And then Prof. He commented on Prof. Chen’s speech and delivered his own ideas.
During the Q&A section, these two renowned scholars answered all the questions thoroughly asked by the students ranging from Criminal Law Amendment, irrational media to Rule of Law in China and Circuit Courts.
By participating in this seminar, students not only grasped a chance to talk to respectful Scholars, but also accumulated valuable experiences guiding their future career.
