The Development and Licensing Salon of Open-Source in Big Data Time Held Successfully

On the morning of Jan. 11st, 2014, the Development and Licensing Salon of Open-Source in Big Data Time held successfully in Room 308 of KoGuan Building. Peking University Institute of Intellectual Property Rights hosted that salon. Peking University Internet Law Center was the organizer and Intellectual Property Society of PKU was the co-organizer.
That salon was the first time to have an academic communication for technical and legal experts on OSS in domestic. It attracted many experts home and abroad to come and participate.
Salon included two parts. The first part was to discuss the OSS technology developing trends. The second part was the legal issues of the OSS licensing, including patent license, copyright license, Open source license, and the influence on the development of the OSS technology.
The salon lasted three hours and ended successfully after the heated discussion.
