On the evening of May 22, 2025, Brian Bix, Frederick W. Thomas Chair in Law and Philosophy at the University of Minnesota Law School, delivered a lecture titled "Law and Economics: A Partial Defense" at Peking University Law School. The lecture was chaired by Dai Xin, Vice Dean of Peking University Law School. Feng Wei, Lecturer at the Law School of China University of Political Science and Law, and Wu Jingjian, Postdoctoral Fellow at Peking University Law School, served as discussants. Numerous faculty and students from within and outside the university participated, and the event received an enthusiastic response.
