On May 29, the signing ceremony of the "Cooperation Agreement between Peking University Law School and Hulun Buir Intermediate People's Court" was successfully held in Conference Room 305, Kaiyuan Building, Peking University.  Li Weiyi, president of Hulunbeier Intermediate People's Court; Zhu Chuanhu and Xu Yan, vice presidents of Court; Shi Quan, Gu Yunbo and Ao Lei, director of the Court; Song Wenhui, deputy director of the Court; Guo Li, secretary of the Party Committee of Peking University Law School; Yang Xiaolei, vice president of Law School; Lu Jiangnan, deputy secretary of the Party Committee; Du Xuejiao and Jia Weiwei, deputy director of the Office of Domestic Cooperation, attended the signing ceremony.

First of all, Secretary Guo Li welcomed Hulunbeier Intermediate People's Court's visit.  He pointed out that Peking University Law School has brought together the most thoughtful teachers in China's legal education and the best students in the country and even the world. He hoped that the law school and Hulunbeier City Intermediate People's Court would carry out further cooperation and exchanges, expand cooperation modes, promote and realize benign interaction between theoretical and practical circles, increase cooperation and contact between the two sides in teaching research, personnel training and practical practice, continue to implement General Secretary Xi's great spirit of "Do not forget your initiative mind, keep in mind the mission, and strive forever" and firmly stick to lofty ideals.

Later, Li Weiyi, party secretary and president of Hulunbeier Intermediate People's Court, introduced the current development situation of Hulunbeier and the working characteristics of Hulunbeier Intermediate People's Court.  He said that through in-depth cooperation with Peking University Law School, he hoped to train excellent judges with solid legal foundation, rich trial experience and profound social opinions, reduce the occurrence of different judgments in the same case, and greatly enhance judicial credibility.

Vice President Yang Xiaolei gave a detailed introduction to the high-end training program and the construction of the artificial intelligence laboratory of Peking University.  He hopes that in the future, the two sides can conduct more in-depth cooperation on the generation, collection and analysis of artificial intelligence and legal big data resources.

After sufficient communication and exchange, the two sides reached an agreement on the cooperation base, teaching practice, internship, training, personnel exchange, subject research and other matters, and jointly signed a cooperation agreement.

The signing of the co-construction and cooperation agreement between Peking University Law School and Hulunbeier City Intermediate People's Court aims at promoting the organic combination of legal education and judicial practice, improving the quality of legal personnel training and the level of judicial practice, and laying a solid foundation for equal cooperation, resource sharing, complementary advantages, mutual benefit and win-win and common development between the two sides.
