On the evening of April 21, "Great Revitalization of Small Rural Areas" - Peking University's "I am at the Grass-roots Level of the Motherland" Report Conference and Law School Talents Salon Selection and Transfer Specialized Seminar was successfully held in the Law School's (Leo) Koguan Building King & Wood Student Club. Wang Hainan, the 2012 alumnus of the Master of Law, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and mayor of Maochengzi Town, Gongzhuling City, Jilin Province, participated in the event and served as the guest speaker. Shi Shi, the Secretary of the Youth League Committee of Law School and the director of Student Affairs Office, Zhang Dongxiao, deputy director of the Student Affairs Office of Law School, attended the event. Guo Xingzhi, deputy director of Career Development Office of Law School, presided over the event.

Firstly, Miss. Guo Xingzhi introduced the salon theme and the participants, and warmly welcomed the guests and students. Subsequently, Wang Hainan alumni began to share their work experience and life experience in grass-roots selection. He described the broad prospect of grass-roots selection, and encouraged students to actively understand and participate in grass-roots selection according to their actual situation, so as to contribute to the rural revitalization. Based on his own practical work experience, Wang Hainan alumni shared his own mental journey. He believed that the grass-roots selection meeting experienced four different stages: excitement period, experience period, hesitation period and growth period. At the same time, he pointed out that the selection should be a choice after careful consideration. After grass-roots training, everyone can benefit a lot. Later, Wang Hainan alumni exchanged in-depth with their classmates on the significance of rural revitalization. He pointed out that rural revitalization is an important part of the "Three Agricultural Work" in the new era. Serving the Rural Revitalization work and participating in the selection of grass-roots units will make a strong contribution to the construction of the motherland and its own development. In the process of free questioning, Wang Hainan alumni discussed with his classmates the specific problems that may be faced in the selection and transfer work.

The talent salon successfully ended in a warm interactive atmosphere. As a brand activity of employment guidance for law school students, this activity has built a communication platform for excellent alumni and students, provided opportunities for students to understand the student selection policy and grassroots work, and promoted students' life planning in advance, which is of great benefit to students' future development.
