At 7:00 pm on March 22, Peking University “I am at the grassroots level of the motherland” report and the talent salon selected graduates session was successfully held in the B103 of (Leo) Koguan Building. This talent salon was sponsored by Peking University Career Guidance Service Center, Law School Student Employment Guidance Office and Peking University Law School Graduate Students Union. It invited Xu Yang, 2012 graduate student and the current party secretary of Guitai Town, Qinzhou City, Guangxi Province as the guest speaker, Guo Ningmei, 2016 master of law and selected graduate of Fujian Province, Yang Song, 2016 master of law and selected graduate of Guangxi Province, Liu Zhucai, 2015 undergraduate student as guests of the conversation. Shi Shi, secretary of the Youth League Committee, Director of the Student Affairs Office, Guo Xingzhi, Deputy Director of the Career Development Office, and Zhang Dongxiao, Deputy Director of the Student Affairs Office and more than 100 law school youth members attended the session. The session was hosted by Yang Zihao, a member of the Graduate Students Union.

First of all, Shi Shi gave a welcome speech. He introduced the overall situation of the "Skills Salon" series of activities of the Law School. He hoped that the students here would cherish the opportunity of face-to-face exchanges, understand the basic situation of the selection of students and grassroots work, constantly cultivate the feelings of the country, and seek their own career planning and Chinese dreams. The point of convergence was to integrate personal growth into the country's construction and the times.

Later, Xu Yang alumni made a keynote speech and exchanged "bitterness" and "music" with the students at the grassroots level. Xu Yang alumni described in detail the initial intention of choosing the road of selection, and combined with the experience of grassroots work in the past seven years, sharing the sentiment. In his view, to do a good job at the grassroots level, we must take the people as the center, be brave in taking responsibility, respect the people, serve the people, and do practical things for the people. The speech of Xu Yang’s alumni won the applause of the classmates present.

After that, three law school students shared their experiences. They said that the selection of the rehabilitated group is an important force for deepening the reform of the Chinese cadre team and a new force for rural rejuvenation. They would be sympathetic to the responsibility and responsibility of the legal person of Peking University and contribute their own strength to the country's grassroots governance.

This talent salon was successfully concluded in a warm and interactive atmosphere. As one of the brand activities of the Law School Career Development Office, this event had established a communication platform for outstanding alumni and students, providing opportunities for students to understand the policy of revitalization and grassroots work, to achieve humanized service, and to guide the employment. At the same time, this activity was an important part of the law school's publicity and education practice activities on the theme of “Youth Heart to Party and New Era”. It invited outstanding grassroots youth cadres to return to their alma mater to discuss and share, and guide the young students to actively respond to the country.
