On the morning of March 8, the final of the 6th Counselor Professional Competence Competition of Peking university was held in the Moonlight Hall of Yingjie Exchange Center. Leading comrades of some government departments and representatives of the winners of previous competitions attended the competition as judges. Law school counselors Lu Min and Zhang Dongxiao qualified for the finals through preliminary selection.

   The finals were divided into two rounds. The first round gave a keynote speech on the topic of “Being a person and being a teacher”, and the second round was a simulation of the conversation scene. In the keynote speech session, the two participating counselors of the law school combined examples with the theme to express their own harvest and growth in their work. The words are full of love for the counselor's work. In the conversation, they listened patiently, followed the temptation, and proposed reasonable solutions to the situational problems. The solid work skills and flexible adaptability left a deep impression on the judges and the audience. In the end, according to the on-site judges without a name, combined with the preliminary test scores, Lu Min won the only first prize in the competition, and Zhang Dongxiao won the third prize in the competition.

   The law school has won great achievements in this competition, which reflects the rich working experience and excellent working level of the counselors of the law school. For a long time, the law school’s student work has adhered to the basic concept of "transforming from an experience-based to an institutionalized, scientific, professional and professional one". It has insisted on optimizing the coordination mechanism, promoting all-round education, continuously enhancing the combat effectiveness of the counselor team, and providing students with warm and powerful help and support. In the following work, the law school’s student work will continue to thoroughly implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the 31st Central Committee document and the National Education Conference, focus on deepening the structural reform on the supply side of the student work, continuously enhance the sense of responsibility and mission of the law school’s counselors, and help student to realize their dreams.
