In 2018, five teachers of the law school were awarded “The second capital law outstanding achievement award”: Prof. Yi Jiming’s thesis “Application of the principle of prohibiting abuse of power in the field of intellectual property” (China Legal Science, 4th issue, 2013). Prof. Shen Kui’s paper, “A new approach to the reform of administrative examination and approval for the needy” (Chinese Journal of Law No. 2, 2014), won the first prize of the paper category; Prof. Guo Li's thesis In Search of a Place In the Sun: the Shadow Banking System with Chinese Characteristics(In Europe Business Organization Law Review, vol.15, Issue 3, 2014) was awarded the second prize In the thesis category; A.P. Lou Jianbo won the third prize in the thesis category for his thesis “the separation of three rights in the transfer of farmland contracted by farmers -- an analysis path of functionalism” (Nankai Journal, 4th issue, 2016).Prof. Liu Yinliang’s monograph Research on international intellectual property politics (Intellectual property publishing house, November 2014) won the second prize in the literature category.
