Tang Xiaoqing, Dean of the Law School of Macau University, visited Peking University Law School

On the morning of August 14, 2018, Prof. Tang Xiaoqing, Dean of the Law School of Macau University, visited the Peking University Law School. Prof. Pan Jianfeng, Dean of Peking University Law School, and Dang Shuping, Director of the Alumni Office, warmly welcomed the visiting guests and the two sides held cordial talks.

  

On behalf of Peking University Law School, Dean Pan Jianfeng expressed sincere welcome to Dean Tang Xiaoqing and other guests, and introduced the general situation of Peking University Law School and the development of cooperation and exchanges at home and abroad in recent years. As the oldest law school in modern law education in China, Peking University Law School actively promotes the research and teaching in the field of basic law, and sends a large number of talents to the rule of law construction in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau. Dean Pan Jianfeng said that the exchanges and cooperation between Peking University and the Law School of Macau University are rich in practice, expecting the law schools of the two universities can further promote the friendly cooperation.

  

Dean Tang Xiaoqing expressed his gratitude to Dean Pan Jianfeng for his warm reception and briefed the Law School of Macau University. Dean Tang Xiaoqing inquired about the relevant situation of the Comparative Law Course of Peking University Law School, and fully discussed the cooperation plan with Dean Pan Jianfeng. In addition, the two sides also exchanged views on China Law Projects, enrollment in the Mainland and other issues. The two sides discussed in detail the promotion of postgraduate projects, which is expected to be implemented specifically this fall.
