"Chinese law" project students visit the Supreme People's Court of the People’s Republic of China

"China Law" project students and exchange students visited the Supreme People's Court of the People’s Republic of China on April 18, 2017. the Supreme People's Court of the People’s Republic of China Applied Law Institute deputy director Cao Shouye, researcher Ding Wenyan received the students, and make wonderful speech.  First, Cao Shouye, talked about the current China's judicial system, focusing on the current judicial system reform, the Circuit Courts of the Supreme People's Court of the People’s Republic of China have been established in Nanjing, Zhengzhou, Chongqing and other places with a comprehensive trial - centered litigation system. Second, Ding Wenyan communicated with the students about the establishment of China's intellectual property courts and the intellectual property precedent system. In the subsequent question and answer session, Cao Shouye ave answered the questions asked by the students concerning the foreign citizens in China jurisdiction issues, the Supreme People's Court of the People’s Republic of China guidance case selection one by one. Finally, Cao Shouye shared his years of practical experience, to encourage students to apply their knowledge, so that the law could plays the value.

Subsequently, the students took photos with the two judges and visited the Court of the Supreme People's Court of the People’s Republic of China feeling the solemn atmosphere of the Supreme Court.

Students have benefited from this visit, not only having an intuitive understanding of the Supreme People's Court of the People’s Republic of China, but also a new understanding of China's judicial system.
