"China Law" project students visit the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission

On May 17, 2017, the "China Law" project students and exchange students went to China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission to visit. Chen Jian, the Director of the CIETAC, warmly received the students.
Under the introduction of Director Chen Jian, the students understood the history of the development of arbitration, the latest development in the field of China’s arbitration and the basic situation of CIETAC. Director Chen also discussed the development of future arbitration cases with the students. The students actively asked questions, and a series of questions about arbitration in china were answered by Director Chen.
Subsequently, director Chen Jian showed the students the filing room, the conference room and the court room around, displayed the first-class office facilities. In visiting process, Director Chen explained in detail, and the students had a better understandin of CIETAC.
Through this visit, the students have an intuitive understanding of China's arbitration practice, a new understanding of China's arbitration law as well. Finally, all participants took a picture, and then the visit ended successfully.
