The E-commerce Law Drafting Group Sent a Letter of Thanks to Our School

Recently, the e-commerce law drafting group of the National People’s Congress(NPC) Financial and Economic Affairs Committee sent a letter, in which it expressed its appreciation of the important contribution Peking University Law School and Prof. Xue Jun did in the process of e-commerce legislation. The letter pointed out that Prof. Xue Jun actively participated in the drafting of the e-commerce law draft and some of his expert advice was adopted in the draft legislation.
Peking University Law School and the E-commerce Legal Development Research Base of Peking University Law and Development Academy were authorized by the NPC Financial and Economic Affairs Committee to participate in e-commerce legislation work in a comprehensive and in-depth way. They strived to solve the key and difficult issues involved in legislation and submitted a legislative outline to the legislative drafting group. In addition, Peking University Law School newly opened an e-commerce law professional direction for Master of Laws, continuously transporting talents for the e-commerce legal practice.
