The 40th Lecture of Private Law and Intellectual Property

On the evening of June third, 2016, the 40th Lecture of Private Law and Intellectual Property was held successfully at Peking University Law School Koguan Building 307 meeting room. This activity was co-sponsored by Research Center of International Intellectual Property of Peking University, Research Base of National Intellectual Property Strategy Implementation (PKU), and private law editorial department. Director He Defang and Zhang Jiejun of Ministry of science and technology, policy, regulation and supervision department acted as keynote speakers. Professor Yi Jiming, Peking University Law school presided over the lecture. The theme was amendment and related issues of promoting the transformation of scientific and technological achievements law in China, which attracted a large number of students and social people to listen to.


First, Zhang Jiejun analysed promoting the transformation of scientific and technological achievements law and related issues.


He Defang director stressed that we should pay attention to the development stage of our country at present. If we ignore this point, it is meaningless to simply make a country comparison. He Defang also answered the questions from the students.


Professor Yi Jiming made a summary statement for this lecture. He thought that the transformation of scientific and technological achievements is a worldwide problem, the characteristics of scientific and technological achievements will not detract in the use of the process and it will increase instead. Therefore, how to determine the value of scientific and technological achievements, and how to maintain the stability of the law in the mobility, are worthy of deep thinking. Implementation of the law requires a cycle, we can expect the law to be revised in the future to play a positive role in the development of innovation driven. The lecture ended at 8:30 pm.
