From May 5th, 2016 to May 11st, 2016,Peking University Law School and Yangzhou Intermediate People's Court cooperatively held police comprehensive quality seminar (the second phase). 88trainees from Yangzhou Intermediate People's Court and the Primary People's Courts participated in theseminar.

In the morning on May6th, 2016,the comprehensive quality seminar (the second phase) was held successfully at Lecturer Hall, Koguan Building. The Deputy Dean of Yangzhou Intermediate People's Court Wang Jirong, the Deputy Dean of Peking University Law School Yang Xiaolei and the class teacher of the seminar Jia Weiwei attended the activity which was hosted by director of Peking University Law School Administrative Office Nian Yijia.

Firstly, the director Nian Yijia welcomed to the arrival of all of the students of the seminar. Then the director Nian gave a comprehensive introduction to the class situation of the seminar, the student's participation, the training forms and course content, etc. Afterwards she playedPeking University Law School propaganda film for the students.

Later, the Deputy Dean Yang Xiaolei expressed the strong ovation and gratitude to the cooperation ofYangzhou Court System and Peking University Law School representing all teachers and students of Peking University Law School.He expressed great expectations to the students from three aspects of Peking University personnel training, the development frontier of the rule of law in China and the significance of setting up the seminar. The deputy dean Yang said that Peking University Law School must undertake its social responsibility to continue to promote the update of thelaw knowledge, the construction of talent ability and the innovation of consciousness, thus to form virtuous circle and interactionwith thecollege development construction, teaching and research progress and the state system improvement.

Then, the Deputy Dean of Yangzhou Intermediate People's Court Wang Jirong spoke, and firstly he appreciatedPeking University Law School for its carefularrangement, full preparation and good organization. Afterwards, he said that the hold of the seminar was a great achievement of the cooperation between the two sides and kicked off for a wider range of cooperation in the future. Then the Deputy Dean Wang expressed his expectation for the students who were present. Last, the Deputy Dean Wang wished the event a complete success.

The successful holding of the police comprehensive quality seminar (the second phase) has a great significance which effectively improved the academic innovation and practical development level of the college itself and promoted the comprehensive quality of the judicial officers in Yangzhou court system. Beside, the seminar further strengthened the communication and cooperation between the Peking University Law School and Yangzhou court system and laid a solid foundation for the two sides in the future to carry out more, deeper, wider range of cooperation.
