Police Comprehensive Quality Seminar Held in Peking University Law School & Yangzhou Court System

Peking University Law School and Yangzhou Intermediate People's Court cooperatively held police comprehensive quality seminar. 110 trainees from Yangzhou Intermediate People's Court, the Primary People's Courts, Yangzhou National People's Congress and Yangzhou Municipal Committee of political science and law participated in a week of comprehensive quality seminar.
In the morning on April21st, the opening ceremony of the comprehensive quality seminar was held successfully at Lecturer Hall, Koguan Building. Director of party member's political department of Yangzhou Intermediate People's Court Zhang Peng, the deputy dean of Peking University Law School Yang Xiaolei and the class teacher of the seminar Jia Weiwei attended the activity which was hosted by director of Peking University Law School Administrative Office Nian Yijia.
Firstly, Miss Nian welcomed to the arrival of the students and appreciated the leading comrades at all levels from Yangzhou Intermediate People's Court for the attention and support to the seminar. Besides, Miss Nian emphatically introduced the high specification teacher disposition of the seminar.
Later, the deputy dean Yang Xiaolei also welcomed to the arrival of the students representing all teachers and students of Peking University Law School. Then Yang introduced the long history of Peking University Law School and the development of Peking University Law School since the reform and opening-up. Besides, he said that the purpose of starting the seminar was to deliver the concept model and the system concept on campus to the social practice, construct legal community and contribute more to the construction of national legal system.
Then, Director Zhang Peng spoke, and firstly he represented Yangzhou Intermediate People's Court to kindly appreciate for Peking University Law School' careful preparation. Afterwards, Director Zhang put forward three requirements to the students who were present. Last, Director Zhang wished the event a complete success.
The seminar has set up a total of eight courses which will be taught by professors from Peking University Law School including Zhu Suli, Shen Kui, Chen Ruihua and Liu Kai who are famous jurists at home. Meanwhile, Prof. Chen Bo fromPhilosophyDepartment of Peking University, Prof. Zhang Ying from Internaional College of Chinese language Studies, A.P. Zhang Zhiyong from Psychology Department and Prof. Zhang Yan from Economics School will also teach on the seminar. The course has rich contents, qualified teachers, advanced teaching facilities and perfect management services.
The seminar will finish on April 26th. At present, the second phase of Police Comprehensive Quality Seminar held by Peking University Law School & Yangzhou Court System is in the process of tense preparation and active promotion, and it is expected to start in early May.
