PKULS Academic Achievements Won the 7th “Outstanding Achievement Award for Scientific Research ”

Recently, the Ministry of Education officially announced winners of the 7th annual “Outstanding Achievement Award for Scientific Research in Colleges and Universities (Humanities and Social Sciences field)”. Peking University has won 49 awards, including 2 first-prize, 24 second-prize and 23 third-prize,which outnumbered all the other universities in China for the fifth time.PKULS had a total of 4 achievement awards, including 2 second prizes and 2 thirdprizes.

PKULS Awards are as follows:

Second-prize:

1)  Chen Xingliang: "Criminal Law of Knowledge Transformation (Academic History)" (alone), Renmin University of China press, November 2012;

2)  Xue Jun: "the Construction of Criticism of Civil Law Theory" (alone), Peking University press, January 2012;

Third-prize:

1)  ZhanZhongle: "Reproductive Freedom and the Protection of Human Rights" (alone), Chinese legal publishing house, August 2013;

2)  CheHao: "Steal into the Penalty: Personal Taboo and Behavior of Criminal Law", contained in the "China law" in 2013 first.

 

Attached: Introduction to “Outstanding Achievement Award for Scientific Research in Colleges and Universities (Humanities and Social Sciences field)”:

This awardwas created by Ministry of education for philosophy and Social Sciences achievements, began in 1995, currently selecting once every three years. It’s China's most respected and influential awards in philosophy and social area. The current work of the award was officially launched in early January 2015 and finally selected 908winning results, including first-prize of 50, second-class award 251, 596 third awards and 11 popularity awards. These achievements are during the period from 2011 to 2013.
