In recent years,the legal status of“Uber” and the reform of the taxi industry haveattractedcontinuous attention from the public. In order tosolve this obstacle which lies in the way of the taxi industry reform, institutions include PKU Research Centre for Law and Economics, PKU Research Centre forE-commerce Law, Peking University Law School and domestic several school of law have come jointly to draft theTaxi Passenger Industry Regulations (model law).This model law was officially released to the publicon “2015 annual meeting of PKUE-commerce Law’s development research base”, December 20, 2015.
