In November 30, 2015, the 6th “Cross Strait International Law Forum”was held successfully. The scholars from both sides of the Taiwan Straits gathered together, engaging in productive discussions.

The “Cross Strait International Law Forum”first started in year 2010, and was dedicated to promote and created by the scholars who are engaged in the academic exchanges and cooperation between the two sides of the Straits. Since its inception,the forum has become a great event.

Firstly, Guests one after another delivered speeches and wished the Seminar complete success, including Prof. Wu Zhipan, PKU Vice-President,Prof. Chen Changwen,Executive Partner of the Lee and Li attorneys-at-law, law and Politics University Law School, Soochow University Law Institute, Prof. Xu Chongli, Dean of the Xiamen University Law School, and Prof. Li Ming,PKU International Law Institute.

Subsequently, the seminar is divided into five groups, the issuesrespectively are the international economic order and WTO, international investment and international finance, China and the international economic order, international maritime law issues and China and international law.

A large group of renowned scholars from around the country had attended this seminar, attracting masters and doctors from International Law majorto participate.

The 6th “Cross Strait International Law Forum” Academic Seminarended up a complete success. The seminar on the research results and the current hot issues of international law has been widely discussed, and the academic interaction and exchange of information also enhanced friendship and understanding between both sides.
