The 2015 Task Demonstration Meeting of Intellectual Property on National Defense Held Successfully

On Dec 3rd afternoon, the Institute for International Intellectual Property of Peking University（IIPP）and Beijing Haiying Science and Technology Information Institute co-organized the “2015 Task Demonstration Meeting of Intellectual Property on National Defense”. The meeting was successfully held at Room 307 in Koguan Building of PKU Law School.The meeting aims to discuss the research results of two projects that entrusted by Beijing Haiying Science and Technology Information Institute.GuMancang, Director of Beijing Haiying Science and Technology Information Institute, Li Yelan, Vice Director of Beijing Haiying Science and Technology Information Institute and Yi Jiming, Director of The Institute for International Intellectual Property of Peking University were presented in the meeting. Besides, Gao Shengping, Professor of Renmin University of China Law School， Chang Peng’ao, Professor of PKU Law School and Yang Ming, Professor of PKU Law School were invited to the meeting.

At the beginning, Director GuMancang highly appraised the research results of two projects. YiJiming, Director of IIPP, expressed his thanks to Beijing Haiying Science and Technology Information Institute for its trust and support. Thecooperation between two institutions went smoothly, containinga significant meaning for both intellectual property and national defense industry.

CaiYuanzhen, Secretary of “the evaluation method of intellectual property on national defense” research group, reported results of the project and introduced methods they used in these researches.

Participating Experts then commented on the researchachievements, including Prof. Gao Shengping and Prof. Chang Peng’ao. Director GuMancang, Vice Director Li Yelan, Professor Gao Shengping and Professor Chang Pengao expressed their opinions about the project respectively.

Next, Huang Xiaosu, Secretary of “the transformative mechanism of intellectual property” research group, explained the results.

During the evaluation session, Prof. Gao Shengping, Prof. Chang Peng’ao, Director GuMancang and Vice Director Li Yelan offered their advice about the second research.

After that, Director GuMancangconcluded the disccusion. Yi Jiming, Director of IIPP, extended his gratitude to Beijing Haiying Science and Technology Information Institute, and looked forward to the next cooperation.
