At the opening ceremony, ProfessorWu Shougen, Federation Chairman of South Korean Law School, Professor Cui Fengzhe, Dean of Sung Kyun Kwan University Law School delivered the welcome speech. In the morning Session,A.P.Liu Zheweidelivered a speech themed “Case Teaching under Dual Perspective”, explaining its function in both judicial exam and legal education. In the afternoon Session, ProfessorGuo Li delivered a speech themed “China’s legal education and occupation in transformation”, explaining in details the development and current status of the topic.

Professor KazumichiTsutsumi Ryo and Professor Ogiso of Chuo University Law School talked about the reform of Japanese law education. Professor JinZaiyuan of Sung Kyun Kwan University Law School said, that South Korean Law School established by the public questioned. Professor Davidson Thomas and Professor Lee Nestorof Fordham University law schoolpointed out the paradox of democracy in American law education.

The scholars of the seminar carried out heated discussions around the topics above.

During the seminar, representatives from our school also presented our academic publications and publicity material, andintroduced the results of our school’sinternational reformation, including English program of Chinese LLM and comprehensive reform of teaching, which was widely praised by the experts.

Through this academic Seminar, scholars from four countries communicated in depth with each other about legal education and legal profession cultivation,laid a solid foundation for future cooperation.
