2015 Lee and Li Scholarship Ceremony Held Successfully

On November 30 afternoon, Lee and Li Scholarship Ceremony was held at PKULS Dean’s Office, Koguan Building. Director of the Lee and Li Attorneys-at-law which set upLee and Li scholarship Chen Changwen, Soochow University Law Research Institute and National Taiwan University politics grinds the part-time professor, director of Chinese arbitration association Li Nianzulawyer, the Chief Executive Officer of Lee and Li education fund Li Yongfen, deputysecretary of the Party committee of Peking University Law School Lu Jiannanattended this ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by Wang Bingshan, deputy director of the law school StudentAffairsOffice.


First, the host introduced the three guests setting up the Lee and Li Scholarship, and introduced to the guests of this year the Lee and Li Scholarship winners: Zhang Qiang, GuMinghua andZhou Xia, after which three guestsawarded for three students.

Subsequently, the three guests spoke separately. Director of the Lee and Li attorneys-at-law ChenChangwen pointed out: hope that the law scholarship can encourage and support the development of jurisprudence the younger generations; he stressed, the rule of law in modern society has important significance and contemporary youth legal person should assume their responsibilities, dare to face the sound system of rule of law in China, to promote the development of rule of law in China this huge challenge. Li Nianzu reiterated that the rule of law is an important driving force for social development, as the students of the university law school should seize the opportunity to transform their knowledge into the contribution of the state.   

Finally, Lu Jiangnan delivered a speech. He expressed thanks to the guests, at the same time the expressed the expectation for young students of Peking University School of lawupholding the “Rule of Law” ideality.
