The 4th plenary session of 18th CPC Central Committee poses the major task that to promote administration by law and to speed up building a law-abiding government.For this reason, PKU Law School and Legal Affairs Office of People’s Government of Beijing co-hosted the seminar targeting at administration by law.

On Nov. 16th, 2015, the seminar was successfully held at Lecture Hall in Koguan Building of PKU Law School at 9:00 am.Representatives from departments of People’s Government of Beijing, Du Xuejiao, vice dean of PKU Law School Domestic Cooperation Office, and Shen Kui, Professor of PKULS, attended the seminar. First, Du Xuejiao introduced the background of the seminar. Then the first lecture given by Professor Shen Kui began.

The seminar lasted for 5 days. Professor Shen Kui, Professor Wang Lei, Professor Zhan Zhongle and Professor Jiang Ming’an consecutively gave lectures about practices in Legal Affairs Office of People's Government. Besides, to better encourage communication among speakers and participants, a panel discussion is arranged after lectures.

PKU Law School Domestic Cooperation Office always values the interaction with governments and promotes the administration by law.
