October 31st 10:00am, Law School "Law-Plastic" opening ceremony was held successfully in the basement of the Koguan Building. Mr. Jia Huicheng,1992 Master of Law and Master of Art, Law school Dean Zhang Shouwen, DeputyDean Yang Xiaolei, deputy secretary of the CPC Lu Jiangnan attended the event.The ceremony was presided over by DeputyDean Yang Xiaolei.

First of all, Law school Deputy Dean Yang Xiaolei introduced the background of the alumni ‘s donation. As well as the process of the creation, selection, design and manufacture of the sculpture. This sculpture has been donated by 1992 alumni, expressing the deep friendship to Law School.

Subsequently, the 1992 master of the alumni representative had a speach. He recalled the university life, thanks to the law school education and training. The alumni exchanged work life with each other. They stressed the importance of "Law-Plastic" for the spirit and college culture of Peking University Law School, and expectd the law school students uphold justice and the rule of law concept in future study and life.

Finally, dean Zhang Shouwen made a speech. He pointed out that the law is important for shaping behavior and culture. The donation of the alumni embodies the spirit of the law, and it is of great significance to the cultural construction and concept of the college. Zhang also thanked the alumni of their generous donations.

The ceremony was held successfully, which reflected the deep affection of the alumni to Law School, also it’s conducive to enhancing the friendship between the alumni and college and teachers.
