On November 6th 2015, under the guidance of Ms. Wei from Peking University Law School, the students of LL.M. Program visited Fenxun Partners, Beijing Office.

Ms. Yuhua Liu, a partner of Fenxun welcomed the LL.M. students and gave a introduction about Fenxun Partner. Fenxun Partner is an excellent Chinese local law firm. Their clients include Chinese enterprises (including SOEs and POEs) and foreign companies doing business in China. The legal services it provide are largely non-litigation businesses, including IPOs, bonds, private equity, FDI, M&A, nonrecourse, real estate, disputes, real estates, banking and FBFs. In April 2015, Baker & McKenzie and Fenxun Partners receive the first approval for a joint operation in the China (Shanghai) free trade zone.

LL. M students are very interested in Fenxun’s business model, practice area, preference on clients, especially in its joint operation with Baker &McKenzie. They discussed these topics with Ms. Liu, all of the questions got a satisfactory response. After the discussion, students visited the office and took pictures. All the students are satisfied with the fieldwork and looking forwards to the next one.
