Wang Junfeng addressed a speech in PKU Law School

Wang Junfeng who is chairman of All Lawyers Association, the partner and chairman of management committee of King and Wood Mallesons had a visit in the afternoon of June 12th.And he had a speech named “How to become a excellent lawyer”. Pan Jianfeng, Party Secretary of PKU Law School and Lu Jiangnan, Vice Party Secretary of PKU Law School attended the lecture. Li Yue, Chairman of Law School Student Union hosted the lecture.
First of all , Pan Jianfeng, Party Secretary of PKU Law School addressed it. On behalf of law school , he expressed thanks to Mr. Wang and welcomed him come to there. He pointed that PKU Law School explored the legal practice education all the time on the base of traditional theory teaching by opening legal practice courses, which has got good effect. The theme of the lecture was closely related to students’ professional development in the future. He think that the lecture would be beneficial to everyone.
In the lecture ,Wang Junfeng expounded the theme by means of four standards. In the first place, an excellent lawyer should be a knowledgeable and nice person who has a sense of responsibility. Secondly, an excellent lawyer should be an independent and confident professional elite. Thirdly, an excellent lawyer should be faithful and loyal. Last but not least, an excellent lawyer should become the tower of strength in the industry.
Later, students asked various questions about the lawyers’ qualities ,social status,core value and so on. Mr. Wang answered to this questions patiently. Interaction with Mr.Wang give the students useful inspirations in the future.
This speech offered students a chance that they could communicate with the leader in the industry. It makes students who want to become a lawyer find the right direction. And it also has a profound effect on learning plan and career chioce of students.
