On August 28, 2026, Prof. Jukka Mähönen of the Faculty of Law at the University of Helsinki, Finland, delivered an invited lecture entitled “Governance for Sustainability: The Role of Corporate Law and Corporate Governance in Shaping Sustainable Corporations” as part of the Global & Comparative Law Lecture Series. The lecture was moderated by A.P. Jin Jinping of Peking University Law School. The discussants were Prof. Kimmo Nuotio and Prof. Sakari Melander of the Faculty of Law at the University of Helsinki; Prof. Lou Jianbo of Peking University Law School; Yu Jianan, Associate Research Fellow at the Institute of Law, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS); and Tao Pu, Postdoctoral Researcher at Tsinghua University. The lecture attracted a large audience of faculty members and students from within and beyond Peking University, generating lively discussion and positive feedback.
