Delegation of Nine Arbitration Chambers, Singapore's International Arbitration Institution, Visited Our College

On the morning of February 21, 2025, Ms. Rebecca Huang, Chief Representative of Nine Arbitration Chambers (hereinafter referred to as NAC), an international arbitration institution in Singapore, visited Peking University Law School with her delegation. Mr. Dai Xin and Mr. Liu Zhewei, Associate Deans of Peking University Law School, Mr. Zhang Zhiyong, A.P. of Peking University Law School , and Ms. Li Yuanyuan, Assistant Dean and Director of External Affairs Office of Peking University Law School, warmly received the visitors at the Koguan Building of the Law School. The two sides had a fruitful meeting.
On behalf of the College, Dai Xin warmly welcomed the NAC delegation. He said that Peking University Law School attaches great importance to the cultivation of talents in the field of international arbitration, and has set up an LLM program in the direction of “International Arbitration”, and has been actively cooperating with legal practice institutions for many years to provide students with courses related to international dispute resolution and international arbitration practice. Ms. Rebecca Huang thanked Peking University Law School for its warm reception and said that the delegation was honored to have the opportunity to visit. NAC attaches great importance to the cooperation with Peking University Law School, and hopes to give full play to the characteristics of NAC's wide scope of business and many jurisdictions, and to provide students of Peking University Law School with the opportunity to broaden their horizons and solidify their legal professional ability.
Subsequently, the two sides had a fruitful discussion on the specific contents of the cooperation. In the future, the two sides intend to cooperate in providing courses, setting up internship programs, and providing professional support for students' practical training.
The visit of NAC to Peking University Law School is a good start for the establishment of cooperation between the two sides, and lays a solid foundation for future exchanges and cooperation.
