Prof. Ioannis Kokkoris, Director of the Commercial Law Research Center of Queen Mary University of London, visited Peking University Law School

On the afternoon of June 15, Prof. Ioannis Kokkoris, Director of the Commercial Law Research Center of Queen Mary University of London, and Ms. Christine Zhou, Director of the International Program, visited Peking University Law School. Dean of Peking University Law School Guo Li, Vice Dean Dai Xin, Prof. Lou Jianbo, Assistant Dean and Director of External Affairs Office Dr. Li Yuanyuan held talks with Prof. Ioannis Kokkoris and his delegation.

 

At the beginning of the talks, Dean Guo Li, on behalf of the School, sincerely welcomed Prof. Ioannis Kokkoris and his delegation. The two sides shared information on the source of students, the structure of teachers and the development of their respective institutions in recent years, and conducted in-depth exchanges on student exchanges and teacher visits. Since the signing of the cooperation agreement in 2015, the two sides have achieved fruitful cooperation. The Centre for Commercial Law Studies at Queen Mary University of London accepts our students to study LL.M each year. Degree with a 10% tuition scholarship.

Prof. Ioannis Kokkoris is delighted to be back at Peking University Law School. He said that the Commercial Law Research Center of Queen Mary University of London will continue to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Peking University Law School, looking forward to more teachers and students participating in the cooperation between the two sides in the future, and also hope that the two sides can achieve full information exchange, timely and comprehensive exchange of academic seminars and other information, and deepen cooperation in many academic research fields such as corporate law and competition law. To provide a broad platform for interested scholars to exchange and learn, so as to deepen the communication and cooperation between the two sides.
