Faculty-Student Meeting for the Class of 2025 of the Interdisciplinary Undergraduate Program in Foreign-Related Rule of Law and Global Governance Held at Peking University

On June 20, 2025, Peking University held a faculty-student meeting for the Class of 2025 of the Interdisciplinary Undergraduate Program in Foreign-Related Rule of Law and Global Governance at the Chen Ming Lou Alumni Center. The event aimed to enhance communication between faculty and students and to support students’ academic planning.


The meeting was attended by Liu Zhewei, Vice Dean of Peking University Law School; Chen Yifeng and Zuo Yilu, Tenured Associate Professors at Peking University Law School; Gui Yongtao, Vice Dean of the School of International Studies; Liu Lu, Assistant Professor; as well as teaching affairs staff from both schools. The event was moderated by Zuo Yilu.


During the meeting, faculty members introduced the program’s objectives, curriculum structure, and mentoring arrangements, and responded to students’ questions. Students also shared their academic interests and expectations for the program. The event concluded with open discussion in a cordial atmosphere.


The Interdisciplinary Undergraduate Program in Foreign-Related Rule of Law and Global Governance is jointly established by the Law School and the School of International Studies, aiming to cultivate students with a solid legal foundation, a global perspective, and the capacity to address foreign-related legal and governance issues. The first cohort of 20 students will begin their studies in the 2025-2026 academic year.
