Introduction to the Chief Expert:
Wang Xixin, professor and doctoral advisor of Peking University Law School. He was awarded the title of the 6th National Top Ten Outstanding Young Jurists. He is also the executive director of the Research Institute of Administrative Law, China Law Society, the vice-chairman of the China Law Society Law Journal Research Association, the director of the Research Center of Constitution and Administrative Law, Peking University(Key Research Base of Humanities and Social Sciences under the Ministry of Education), the editor-in-chief of Peking University's Journal of Chinese and Foreign Law, the executive dean of the Institute of Law and Development, Peking University, and former vice-chairman of the Administrative Tribunal of the Supreme People's Court.
Introduction to the Subject: Since the promulgation of the Outline of the Plan for Building the Social Credit System (2014-2020), China has promoted the development of the Social Credit System, getting wide attention domestically and abroad. During the first planning period, great progress has been made in the construction of social credit system, with the overall framework basically formed, the infrastructure comprehensively equipped, the main rules successively promulgated, and the operation orderly. However, in the meantime, the social credit system has encountered a series of challenges and dilemmas in such aspects as theory, information, regulation, service and remedy, thus has faced criticism and questions from many parties, concerning the legitimacy of social credit system in form, substance and procedures. This project is the first research project on the law-based social credit system jointly carried out by top university and authorities in China. We will center on the legal safeguard mechanism of social credit system, proposing the legal-based social credit system in Chinese context, addressing Chinese problems, providing Chinese solutions and telling Chinese stories with respect to five propositions including the legitimization of domestic social credit theory, social credit information, credit supervision, credit services and credit relief from multi-disciplinary perspectives of the law, political science, economics and public administration, so as to provide valuable guidance and intellectual support for the national social credit legislation program and the implementation of relevant policies.

His main research fields and academic expertise include intellectual property law, biotechnology law, health law, science and technology.
Introduction to the Subject: With practical needs in modern society growing, assisted reproductive technology (ART), based on biology and medicine, has been invented and developed rapidly. However, its application has also brought about a wide range of technical, ethical, legal and social problems. Such situations are screaming for study on how to set up the corresponding technical, ethical and legal norms, as well as to explore the specific ways of regulation and system building. Based on the domestic practice of ART, as well as combining the basic theories of medicine, ethics and law, this paper intends to make a comprehensive study on the regulation and system building of ART in our country, so as to provide suggestions on domestic legislation, judiciary and administration for the construction of ART management system, at the same time expand and improve the research horizon and level within interdisciplinary fields of civil law, criminal law, administrative law, health law, medical law and biotechnology law.
