The 20^th Anniversary of graduation of alumni of class of 1999 second bachelor degree of intellectual property law was held in Moot Court of Koguan Building on 17^th of July.

The anniversary was presided by alumni Wang Zhouyi. Head teacher and lecturers of second bachelor degree of intellectual property law of class of 1999, Prof. Zhu Qichao, Prof. Zheng Shengli and Prof. Ma Baoxia, as well as Prof. Yang Ming from PKULS, director Dang Shuping and vice-director Lu Xinxin of Alumni Office attended the activity.

 

 

In the opening speech Wang Zhouyi expressed his longing for coming back to the campus and reuniting with his old friends as the first group of alumni to came back after the epidemic. Then the representatives of alumni sent flowers to present professors as an expression of gratitude.

 

 

 

Director Dang Shuping introduced the work of Alumni Association of PKULS in recent years, emphasizing that the aim of the Association is to unite, serve and help alumni of the school. Therefore, she hoped that all the alumni would pay more attention to Law School, and help each other to develop.

 

 

Prof. Zhu Qichao sent an warm welcome to alumni. He said that alumni were in their golden-age of contributing to our country, our people and our society. He hoped that all the alumni would return to PKU from time to time.

 

 

Prof. Zheng Shengli emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary expert with intellectual property background. Although not every alumnus worked on intellectual property, but they kept the way of thinking learnt from PKU, which made professors feel gratified.

 

 

Prof. Yang Ming introduced recent development and achievements of Faculty of Intellectual Property of PKULS.

 

 

Prof. Ma Baoxia waited for this reunion for a long time. She said that all the alumni were backbones in their job. She wished everybody a happy family and good health.

 

 

Prof. Zhang Ping sent her best wishes to the alumni through video. She said that she had a wonderful memory with all the students and felt proud of them. She wished alumni a happy day in campus.

Afterwards, Gao Xue spoke on behalf of all the alumni. She said that she worked in the field of intellectual property for a long time. But she could still feel the love of everyone for PKU when she saw her old classmates. She felt that the familiarity and enthusiasm between each other never changed.

 

 

At the end, alumni and professors watched the video Affection for PKU together and visited the History Museum of PKU.
