Peking University Law School and The Fourth Branch of Beijing Municipal People's Procuratorate jointly held a Talent Salon entitled "Talking about Procuratorial Practice and Feeling the Glory of a Century"

On the afternoon of May 26, Peking University Law School and The Fourth Branch of Beijing Municipal People's Procuratorate jointly held a Talent Salon entitled "Talking about Procuratorial Practice and Feeling the Glory of a Century". Wang Zhimin, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee, Deputy Chief Prosecutor and Director of the Political Department of The Fourth Branch, Wang Xinmin, Second-Class Counsel and Director of the Comprehensive Office, Shi Shi, Assistant Dean of Peking University Law School and Director of the Student Affairs Office, Fu Chengyu, Director of the Career Development Office, attended the activity with more than ten young police representatives and more than twenty student representatives.

Under the guidance of the young police officers, all participants visited the new office areas, new case-handling areas, new management and supervision facilities and new professional technical facilities of the Fourth Branch.

Afterwards, the two sides held a symposium in the lecture hall of the Fourth Branch. The young police officers shared their experiences in procuratorial work, expressing their faith to make people feel equity and justice in every case. The youth representatives of Law School talked freely about their learning impressions based on their major, practical experience and academic research.

Mr. Shi Shi introduced the teaching and academic research of the law school and said that this talent salon provided a good platform for reviewing the great achievements and development of the procuratorial cause under the leadership of the Party, narrowing the distance between theoretical learning and judicial practice.

Finally, Deputy Chief Prosecutor Wang Zhimin made a concluding speech. He encouraged the young police officers and students present to continue to study the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches, strengthening their ideals and beliefs, and bear in mind their original mission to contribute to the rule of law.

With the theme of " Talking about Procuratorial Practice and Feeling the Glory of a Century", this talent salon organically integrates legal education with procuratorial practice, Party history education and the cultivation of legal talents, which has achieved good communication and learning results.
