At 18:40 on the evening of December 4, 2020, the 36th Corporate Legal Risk Forum organized by the Chinese Corporate Legal Risk Management and Research Center of Peking University was successfully held at Room 420 at Second Teaching Building. This forum specially invited Fan Xiaoting, Senior Vice President of China Securities Co., Ltd., to give a lecture on the topic of "Due Diligence and Review Points of Investment Bank Bond Products". The forum was presided over by Professor Jiang Daxing of Peking University Law School. Graduate and doctoral students from various majors of Law School actively attended and launched lively discussions during the report. After a warm welcome from teachers and students present and a brief introduction to Fan Xiaoting, the lecture officially began.

First of all, Vice President Fan Xiaoting gave a brief introduction to the development of China's bond market and the overview of China's main fixed-income products, and then followed up on China's company and corporate bond financing, debt financing instrument financing, asset securitization product financing and overseas bond issuance financing and other financing methods in detail from multiple perspectives such as the basic situation, registration process, and review points in practice. Secondly, Vice President Fan Xiaoting focused on explaining Quasi-municipal enterprises, and talked about the practical problems of such enterprises and the key points of reviewing their bond business. Finally, Vice President Fan Xiaoting focused on real estate companies and discussed the characteristics of real estate companies and how investment banks conduct due diligence on these types of companies.

After explaining the main content of the forum, Vice President Fan Xiaoting briefly reviewed the overall forum content and gave some professional suggestions to students who wish to enter investment banking. At the end of the forum, the Chinese Corporate Legal Risk Management and Research Center of Peking University presented a certificate of appreciation to Vice President Fan Xiaoting. Amid the applause of the teachers and students present, the forum ended successfully.
