Peking University "I am at the grassroots level in China" report and selected graduates salon of PKULS was held successfully

On the evening of October 16th, "Faith is the way to go" -- Peking University's "I am at the grassroots level in China" report and selected graduates salon was successfully held in Koguan Building. Chen Jun, Tian Kun, Jin Haoyu and Li Bohan, four outstanding alumni of the Law School, were invited to be the keynote speakers. Shi Shi, assistant dean and secretary of the Youth League Committee of the Law School, and Shi Moran, deputy director of the Career Development Office, attended this activity. Nearly 100 Law School students participated in the activity.
First of all, Shi Shi gave a speech for this activity. He expressed his sincere welcome and gratitude to the four outstanding alumni who returned to their Alma mater for theme sharing. He pointed out that "Faith is the way to go" is Xi Jinping's instruction and expectation for the youth of the New Era. He encouraged students to learn from the four outstanding alumni and devote themselves to the place where the motherland needs them the most.
In the sharing session, the four alumni shared with the students their experience and growth of working at the grassroots level in China. In the form of a short film, Chen Jun showed his extraordinary ten years of life at the grassroots level and his experience of leading the villagers out of poverty and getting rich. Tian kun explained in detail the relationship between selected graduates and civil servants, and shared the reasons why she chose to return to her hometown, Ningxia. She also provided guidance on career choices for students. Jin Haoyu shared his experience in preparing for the entrance examination and introduced his work experience in the General Office of Beijing Municipal Party Committee. He called on the students to put what they had learned into practice and to achieve themselves in the process of achieving society. Li Bohan shared her determination to join the grassroots with her work experience, and encouraged the students to go to the grassroots for many times.
In the questioning session, the four alumni enthusiastically answered various questions about the choice of location, the similarities and differences between the work of the court and the judicial department, the skills of the tests, how to apply what they have learned to the grassroots, etc., and talked about their missions and original intentions.
With the theme of "Faith is the way to go", this salon aims to actively respond to General Secretary Xi Jinping's ardent expectations for young people in the New Era. Through the sharing of the real grassroots work experience of the four alumni, the students will understand the grassroots practice, set up ideals and beliefs.
