On the morning of October 10, 2020, the opening ceremony of “Peking University Law School(PKULS)-2020 Hainan Province Lawyer Industry Leading Talent Training Target, Second Training Course” was successfully held in the first conference room of Xihua Hotel in Beijing. Fan Rui, deputy director of the Lawyers Bureau of Department of Justice, Hainan Province, Du Xuejiao, director of the PKULS, and nearly 50 outstanding lawyers from Hainan Province attended the opening ceremony. The ceremony was officiated by Jia Weiwei, deputy director of the PKULS.

Director Du Xuejiao, on behalf of the School of Law, extended a warm welcome to all the students of the seminar, who traveled more than 2,600 kilometers from north to south of China to attend the training session. Du also expressed her best wishes and expectations. PKULS, as a law school attaching great importance to integrating theory with practice and actively participating in social service, hopes to further the communication with all sectors of society, including the Department of Justice, Hainan Province, and establishs a long-term & stable mode of mutually beneficial cooperation.　

Fan Rui, deputy director of the Lawyers Bureau of Department of Justice, Hainan Province, started the class mobilization. Fan expressed her heartfelt thanks to the School of Law, put forward disciplinary requirements for the seminar, and expressed the expectation. She hoped that all students could achieve, learn, and successfully graduate. Finally, Fan cited “the rule of law is our life-long belief” and shared it with all the participants.

This program has been carefully designed and arranged in terms of the curriculum, teaching content and professors. It will be taught by experts and scholars from the PKULS. The teaching content is rich, novel and the combination of theory and practice is helpful for the lawyers to perfect their knowledge system, expand their thinking fields and improve their professional level.
