PKULS organized teachers and students to carry out the ideological and Political practice course themed "Judicial Reform and Grass-roots Governance" in Nanning and Qinzhou of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region from August 25 to 27, 2020. The course was taught by Pan Jianfeng, dean of the Law School, Shi Shi, secretary of the Youth League Committee, Li Wanyu, deputy secretary of the Youth League Committee, Zhou Yuansong and Zhu Yuqi as teaching assistants, and 21 undergraduates participated in practical research.

On the morning of 25th, the group came to the Commission for Discipline Inspection of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region for discussion. Fang Lingmin, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Committee and director of the Supervisory Committee of the Autonomous Region, had a cordial meeting with Pan Jianfeng. The symposium was presided over by Lei Yongda, deputy secretary of the Discipline inspection Commission and deputy director of the Supervisory Commission of the Autonomous Region. At the meeting, Hu Zhongheng, director of the research and regulation Department of the Discipline Inspection Commission of the Autonomous Region, introduced the situation of promoting the national supervision system reform in Guangxi.

Later, the group came to the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Municipal People's Procuratorate for discussion. At the meeting, Luo Shaohua, deputy Chief Procurator and member of the Party Committee of the People's Procuratorate, and Pan Jianfeng, dean of PKULS, jointly signed the cooperation agreement on the co-construction of the Ideological and Political Practice Course Education Base.

On the morning of 26th, the practice group came to Qinzhou Municipal People's Procuratorate to carry out research activities. Students actively asked questions on public interest litigation and other aspects, and got the patient reply from relevant responsible Procuratorate.

Subsequently, the practice group came to the People's government of Qinzhou city to learn about the growth and grass-roots governance. Huang Jiehui, deputy director of the Organization Department of Qinzhou Municipal Party Committee, introduced the situation of the selection and training of Selected Graduates.

On the afternoon of 26th, the practice group came to Qingpi Village, witnessing the remarkable achievements of the construction of "beautiful countryside" in Qinbei District.

On the morning of 27th, the group held a consultative meeting on the summary of practice. Teacher Li Wanyu presided over the meeting, she highly affirmed the students' performance in practice.

On the afternoon of 27th, the group came to the last stop of the practice - Kunlun Patriotism Education Base. The visit made the students relive the magnificent history, touch the historical pulse in the peaceful years, feel the hard-won peace, recall the revolutionary martyrs, and receive a profound patriotic education in the solemn and stirring atmosphere.
