Peking University Law School Cooperated with Peking University Press to Donate Books to Shihezi University

In order to enrich the resources of Shihezi University’s law library and help the construction and development of Shihezi University’s law disciplines, Peking University Law School and Peking University Press jointly donated more than 70 copies of the newly published “Law Introduction Manual” to Shihezi University School of Political Science and Law. Zhan Zhongle, a professor of Peking University Law School, who was appointed dean of Shihezi University's School of Political Science and Law, accepted the donation on behalf of Shihezi University.

The unified, meticulous and applicable citation system is a symbol of mature discipline. The newly published "Law Citation Manual" is officially recommended by the Law Society of China which was jointly formulated by 24 law journals, 9 law publishing houses, 2 law databases and other 35 units. It is also a relatively complete citation system in the field of Chinese law so far. Peking University Law School and Peking University Press have maintained close cooperation for a long time. The editorial board of "Chinese and Foreign Law" and "Peking University Law Review" and many teachers of the college have deeply participated in the editing and reviewing of the manual, making important contributions to the publication of the manual.

For the past two decades, Peking University Law School has supported Shihezi University's School of Political Science and Law, which has also provided active support and assistance in the fields of law discipline construction, talent cultivation, academic exchanges and library materials construction. On behalf of the School of Political Science and Law of Shihezi University, Professor Zhan Zhongle expressed his gratitude to Peking University Law School and Peking University Press for their support for Xinjiang law education. He believes that close exchanges and in-depth cooperation in the future will benefit more teachers and students. The superior resources will help Shihezi University to cultivate more outstanding talents and make greater contribution to the construction of rule of law in Xinjiang.
