PKULS Team Wins 16th CASC Cup Manfred Lachs International Space Law Moot Court Competition

On the morning of December 22, the 16th CASC Cup Manfred Lachs International Space Law Moot Court Competition of Chinese Institute of Space Law successfully concluded at Beijing Institute of Technology. After a fierce competition, the PKULS team stood out and won the championship (special prize). The team won the "Best Memorial", Ma Xiaobin was awarded the "Best Oralist" title, and Chen Kunshu was awarded the "Outstanding Oralist" title.

This is the first time for the PKULS team to participate in the event. Teacher Qiao Yifu is the coach, 2018 graduate student He Yemei is the student coach, and 2019 graduate student Ma Xiaobin is the team leader. Chen Kunshu served as a team member, 2018 graduate student Ji Xiaotong and 2017 undergraduate Kanan Duolikun also did a lot of work in the preparation process.

The Manfred Lachs International Space Law Moot Court Competition is an annual, world-class moot court competition founded by the IISL in 1992. The three current judges of the United Nations International Court of Justice have personally appeared in court and become one of the world's highest-level and most influential mock court contests. I wish Peking University Law School a great success in the Asia-Pacific competition of the Manfred Lachs International Space Law Moot Court held in April 2020!
