On the evening of November 22, “Don’t forget your original intention and keep your mission in mind”——Peking University’s “I am at the grassroots level of the motherland” report meeting and the special training of the Law School Talent Salon were successfully held in the (Leo) Koguan Building. Lu Jiangnan, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of PKULS, Shi Shi, the director of the Student Work Office, and Zhang Dongxiao, deputy director of the Employment Guidance Office, attended the event. The 2016 alumni of the Law School, Zhang Daixu who is currently working in the Discipline Inspection Commission of Jiangsu Province;The 2017 alumni of the Law School Zhang Jiawei who is currently working in the General Office of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee of the Communist Party of China, the 2018 alumni of the Law School, Su Ye who is currently working in the Chalan City of Inner Mongolia , the 2019 alumni of the Law School, Chen Jingwei who currently works in Nanyu Town, High-tech Zone, Fuzhou, Fujian Province, were the keynote speakers at the event. The event was hosted by Yang Kening, a graduate student of Law School in 2019, and more than 100 law school students participated in the event.

  

 

First of all, the four alumni candidates shared their grass-roots work experience, work experience, and the targeted selection and selection plan of their province of employment. Alumni Zhang Daixu believes that hands-on practice is the best way to increase experience, and initial intentions and beliefs are indispensable ideological guidelines in work. Alumni Zhang Jiawei shared the tremendous impact of grassroots work on a newly graduated university student. He pointed out that in the work, individuals are small and collective power is infinite. Everyone should integrate themselves into the collective. Alumni Su Ye focused on sharing the reasons for choosing grassroots employment. The most important thing in choosing a career is to understand his pursuit and strive to maximize personal value in his work. Alumni Chen Jingwei shared her mental journey since her work, and extended a warm welcome to the students who applied for Fujian’s placement.

 

  

During the free questioning session, the four selected transfer representatives gave detailed answers to the concerns of the students. Alumni Zhang Daixu clarified the difference between undergraduate and postgraduate work at the grassroots level. He believes that postgraduates have higher education and richer experience, and have certain advantages over undergraduate students. However, the most important thing in grassroots exercise is actual work ability. Alumni Su Ye reminded students who want to participate in the selection, to learn professional knowledge and to prepare for basic work. Alumni Chen Jiawei emphasized that the most important thing in grass-roots work is to maintain an attitude of serving the people. When dealing with the relationship between colleagues, keep humble and learn with an open mind.
