From 18:40 to 21:00 on September 16, 2019, the 62nd Session of the Forum Series on Social Law of PKU, sponsored by the Institute of Labor Law and Social Security Law of PKU was successfully held at the 1^st Building No. 308 of PKU. The lecture was delivered by Prof. Wang Tianyu, an associate researcher at the Law Research Institute of CASS, while Prof. Yan Tian, an assistant professor from PKULS was the Host.  Dr. Ye Jingyi ,from the Institute of Labor Law and Social Security Law of PKU, commented on the lecture. As part of "Social Law Theme" on 2019 Autumn Term Postgraduate Courses of PKULS, in addition to the selected students, the lecture also attracts students from other universities to attend.

Starting from the paper "Practice, Contract and Application of Law of Employment on Internet Platform", Prof. Wang Tianyu systematically presented the research methods and writing experience in the field of Social Law.. The whole research was divided into four stages: topic selection, question raising, analysis and conclusion. Prof. Wang Tianyu pointed out that the topic of the article originated from the observation and attention to life. In the whole field of Social Law, the study of Labor Law is relatively mature, but there are still many problems in the field of Social Security that need to be studied. At the same time, the systematization of Social Law has not been completed thoroughly. The real life problems need to be analyzed and explained from the legal point of view.

Later, Prof. Ye Jingyi commented on this lecture . She thanked Professor Wang Tianyu for sharing his experience with her classmates in research and thesis writing of Social Law , pointed out the particularity and importance of social law research methods, affirmed highly the important exploration made by Prof. Wang Tianyu's article on the issue of flexible employment and labor relations, and hoped that students would learn to borrow it.

At the end of the lecture, the students and Prof. Wang Tianyu interacted with each other and took pictures together. Through this lecture, students obtainded a preliminary understanding of the employment of Internet platform, intuitively felt the research methods of Social Law and the way of writing papers, which would guide their academic research and exploration.
