On November 4, 2025, the Peking University Law School Students' Overseas Exchange Experience Sharing Session was held in Conference Room 303 of the Koguan Building. Weng Shutian, Xie Haoqi, Tao Mengting, Tu Xuelian, and Yang Yining, five students who had participated in international exchange programs, shared their experiences and insights. Dai Xin, Deputy Dean of the Law School, and Wang Huawei, Assistant Dean, attended the event.

Weng Shutian highlighted the enhancement of professional skills and career planning through exchange, noting how exposure to courses like U.S. antitrust law deepened her practical understanding.

Xie Haoqi described the enriching academic and social life at Leiden University, where he enjoyed renowned international law courses and built cross-cultural friendships in dormitory life.

Tao Mengting explained her choice of the University of Oslo, attracted by its strong data law curriculum and the interactive teaching methods that encourage independent thinking.

Tu Xuelian shared her experience at Sciences Po in Paris, where she gained valuable knowledge in EU economic law and participated in eye-opening visits to embassies and cultural events.

Yang Yining offered three practical tips for future exchange students: proactively utilizing professors' office hours, contributing unique Asian perspectives in class, and staying alert to new academic concepts discussed abroad.

After the five students' sharing, attending students raised questions regarding program selection, living costs, credit transfer, and application preparation. The two faculty members and the five sharing students answered their questions.

The application for Peking University Law School's Fall 2026 overseas exchange programs is expected to open in December 2025.
