On April 8, 2025, at noon, Peking University Law School hosted the“Global Comparative Law Lecture Series”in Room 303 of the Koguan Building. Prof. Rolf Stürner from the University of Freiburg Law School delivered the keynote address titled“The Historical Evolution of Trust Systems in England, France, and Germany and Their Significance in Contemporary Enforcement Law:A Reference Model for Further Opening China's Civil Law System?”
The lecture was chaired by A.P. Zhang Shuanggen of Peking University Law School. Prof. Wang Hongliang from Tsinghua University Law School attended as a special guest. Scholars from Peking University Law School, including Lou Jianbo, Ge Yunsong, Xue Jun, Xu Defeng, Chang Peng'ao, Jin Jinping, Ji Hailong, He Jian, and Wu Xunxiang, were present. Wu Xunxiang served as the discussant, while Assistant Researcher Chen Chang from Tsinghua University Law School handled the primary translation duties.
