Peking University Team won the championship in the 5th Asian-Pacific Enterprise MA moot competition

The 5th Asian-Pacific region Enterprise Merger and Acquisition moot competition held Successfully from March 24th to March 28th in Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Peking University Team did a great job in the competition. They won the best merger and acquisition text award and the best merger and acquisition counselor team award. As for individual awards, Sun Tianchi won “the best merger and acquisition counselor” award and the captain Li Tao won “the greatest contribution member ”award, Which is the best result since Peking University team participated in this competition.
Asian-Pacific region Enterprise Merger and Acquisition moot competition is a interdisciplinary knowledge contest among universities in order to promote the cooperation between students from law school and students from business school. It also offers students from different universities an opportunity to make friends and broaden their horizons. Besides,it is good to promote the communication between academia and practical circle .
There are 12 prestigious universities participating in this competition including The University of Hong Kong, National Chengchi University, Nanjing University, National Taiwan University, National Taipei University, National University of Singapore, Peking University, Renmin University of China, Singapore Management University, Tsinghua University, Amoy University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, which is the biggest competition since 2011.
The advisor of Peking University Team in this competition is law school teacher Liu Yan and the captain is Li Tao who is grade 2012 LLM majored in economic law. Other members are Sun Tianchi,Zhuo Haoyang, Fu Qiang, Xiang Shulei and Zhao Xinyue. In this contest, Peking University Team represent the Eslite Spectrum and the rival is The University of Hong Kong who represent Wanda Commercial Real Estate. Finally, Peking University Team won the first place by their outstanding performance.
