On May 9, 2025, the final round of the 16th Tianyuan Cup Moot Court Competition was held at Peking University Law School's moot court. The event featured top teams from PKU and Renmin University, with partners and senior consultants from Beijing Tianyuan Law Firm presiding as judges. After intense courtroom debate, Renmin University won the championship and “Best Memorial Award”, while Peking University took second place, with Tan Jialin receiving “Best Advocate” award.

Since 2009, the Tianyuan Cup has become a premier platform for practical legal education, reflecting the law school’s commitment to cultivating practice-ready legal talent in line with national educational reforms.
