Yale Law School Delegation led by Dean Heather K. Gerken

 

On January 9, 2025, the Peking University-Yale University High-Level Forum on Legal Education: Yale Law and China was held at the Academic Lecture Hall of Kaiyuan Building, Peking University Law School. Representatives from numerous domestic law schools and renowned scholars who had studied or conducted research visits at Yale Law School gathered together to conduct in-depth discussions on topics such as the reform and development of legal education and the cultivation of legal professionals. The opening ceremony of the forum was presided over by Dai Xin, Vice Dean of Peking University Law School.

Singapore International Arbitration Institution Nine Arbitration Chambers

State Secretary of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs

On March 3, 2025, Andreas Motzfeldt Kravik, State Secretary of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and his delegation visited Peking University Law School.  Norwegian State Secretary Andreas Motzfeldt Kravik delivered a lecture titled “Norway and the Law of the Sea”.

On May 27, 2025, Serges Kamga, Dean, Faculty of Law, University of the Free State, South Africa, and his delegation visited Peking University Law School. The Dickson Poon School of Law, King's College London(KCL)

 

On September 16, 2025, Professor Christoph Kletzer, Vice Dean for International Affairs at The Dickson Poon School of Law, King's College London (KCL, UK); Associate Professor Lerong Lu, Director of the LLM in Law and Technology Program; Caitlin English, Senior International Partnership Manager; and Attorney Zhou Yuxiang from Beijing Shanggong Law Firm visited Peking University Law School (PKU Law). The delegation was warmly received by Professor Dai Xin, Vice Dean and Tenured Associate Professor of PKU Law; Professor He Qisheng; and Assistant Professor Wang Huawei, Assistant to the Dean. Both parties conducted in-depth discussions on topics such as exchanges between the two law schools, student development, and disciplinary advancement.

Dedman School of Law, Southern Methodist University(SMU)

 

On the morning of October 16, 2025, Jason Nance, Dean and Professor of Dedman School of Law, Southern Methodist University (SMU); Martin Camp, Associate Dean and Professor of Dedman School of Law, SMU; and Attorney Ji Hengka, SMU alumnus and Partner at Zhong Lun Law Firm, among others, visited Peking University Law School. The delegation was received by Professor Guo Li, Dean of Peking University Law School, and Professor Dai Xin, Vice Dean of the Law School.

Vice Dean Dai Xin extended a warm welcome to Dean Nance and his delegation, noting that Peking University Law School is committed to providing students with greater access to teaching and research resources and support, and to promoting teacher-student exchanges. Dean Nance shared that SMU Dedman School of Law has achieved excellent pass rates in admissions exams and bar exams, and highlighted the diverse internship opportunities the school offers to students.

On the morning of November 10, President Marie-Ève Sylvestre of the University of Ottawa (Canada) led a delegation to visit Peking University Law School. Professor Guo Li, Dean of Peking University Law School, met with the guests, accompanied by Wang Huawei, Assistant Dean and Assistant Professor of the Law School.

University of Pennsylvania Law School

 

On the afternoon of November 17, 2025, Dean Sophia Z. Lee of the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and her delegation visited Peking University Law School. The delegation was received by Dai Xin, Vice Dean and Tenured Associate Professor of Peking University Law School; Wang Xixin, Professor of Peking University Law School; Zuo Yilu, Assistant Dean and Tenured Associate Professor; and Wu Jingjian, Assistant Professor, among others.

Vice Dean Dai Xin extended a warm welcome to Dean Sophia Z. Lee and her delegation, thanking Dean Lee for taking the time out of her busy schedule to conduct face-to-face discussions and exchanges with students from Peking University Law School.

Dean Lee gave a brief overview of Penn Carey Law School, noting that it boasts outstanding faculty strength and research capabilities in fields such as public law, corporate law, internet and intellectual property law, and criminal law. She focused on highlighting the school’s interdisciplinary characteristics: its faculty members come from multidisciplinary backgrounds including history, political science, psychology, and economics, and the school encourages students to minor in other disciplines or apply for cross-institutional joint degree programs. Penn Carey Law School requires JD students to complete at least 70 hours of pro bono legal services during their studies to strengthen their sense of social responsibility and promote the application of their legal knowledge to give back to society. Dean Lee also emphasized that Penn Carey Law School upholds a community culture of solidarity and mutual assistance.

Hague Conference on Private International Law, HCCH

 

On November 28, 2025, Dr. Christophe Bernasconi, Secretary-General of the Hague Conference on Private International Law (HCCH), visited Peking University (PKU) with his delegation, conducting a series of activities including talks, signing of cooperation documents, and an academic lecture.

Asian Infrestructure Investment Bank (AIIB)

 

On December 10, 2025, Alberto Ninio, General Counsel of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), visited Peking University Law School (PKU Law) with his delegation. The visiting group was received by Dai Xin, Vice Dean and Tenured Associate Professor of PKU Law, and Chen Yifeng, Executive Director of the Institute of International Law at PKU and Tenured Associate Professor. Both sides held in-depth discussions on deepening cooperation.
