PKU-HKU Dual Degree Program Holds 2026 Graduation Ceremony and Development Forum

On June 11, 2026, the Peking University – University of Hong Kong Joint Bachelor of Laws Dual Degree Program held its 2026 graduation ceremony and development forum at Kaiyuan Building. The event brought together leadership from both universities, the Chairman of the Hong Kong Bar Association Senior Counsel Jose-Antonio Maurellet S.C, and representatives from the graduating cohort and current students.

Speakers congratulated the graduates on completing the rigorous five-year dual-jurisdiction program and highlighted the growing value of legal professionals fluent in both common law and mainland Chinese law amid rising cross-border legal demand. Graduating student representatives reflected on their studies across two cities and two legal systems, expressing gratitude to faculty and practitioners from both sides and committing to serve as bridges between the two legal communities.

Launched in 2019, the PKU-HKU program continues to exemplify Peking University Law School's dedication to cultivating versatile, globally minded legal talent equipped to meet the demands of an increasingly interconnected world.
