In April 2026, the Peking University Law School team delivered its strongest-ever performance across the 33rd Willem C. Vis Moot season, competing against 390 teams from leading institutions worldwide. The team advanced to the global Top 32 at Vis East and earned memorandum excellence awards in both competitions, making Peking University the only Chinese team this year to receive honors for both Claimant and Respondent memoranda across the Vis Moot and Vis East competition. Oralist Megan Tian received an Honorable Mention for Best Oralist. On the domestic circuit, the team won First Prize at the CIETAC Cup and placed in the global Top 4 at the Moot Shanghai Invitational. These results reflect Peking University Law School's sustained commitment to cultivating internationally competitive legal talent in service of China's foreign-related rule of law strategy.
