The Spring 2025-2026 semester course “Legal Services and Risk Management for Cross-Border Transactions: A Common Law Perspective” has successfully concluded. Co-launched by Peking University Law School and The Law Society of Hong Kong in 2019, the course is organized by Associate Dean and Tenured Associate Professor Dai Xin. Delivered entirely by practicing lawyers experienced in cross-border legal work in Hong Kong, the course covered key areas including the Hong Kong legal system, cross-border investment and capital markets regulation, international commercial dispute resolution, and a mock arbitration exercise. Conducted primarily in English, the course drew participants from across PKU's undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as alumni already in legal practice.
