On March 26, 2026, Mr Kok Kitt-Wai and Mr. Morgan Cao from the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore visited Peking University Law School.
Heidelberg University
On March 30, 2026, Professor Christoph Kern of the Institute for Comparative Law, Conflict of Laws, and International Business Law at Heidelberg University delivered a lecture at Peking University Law School titled “Revisiting the Relationship between Civil Law and Procedural Law from the Perspective of Dispute Resolution.”
Saarland University
On March 30, 2026, Professor Christian Gomille of Saarland University, also a judge at the Saarland Court of Appeal, lectured at Peking University Law School.
Astana International Finance Centre
On April 3, 2026, Astana International Finance Centre’s Registrar and CEO Christopher Campbell-Holt and policy director Miray Ozat visited Peking University Law School, hosted by professor Zhang Zhiyong. Holt discussed Astana’s “one-stop” dispute resolution model (courts, arbitration, mediation), comparing mechanisms’ roles in attracting investment, plus Central Asia/Belt and Road implications, followed by a Q&A.

The United Nations International Law Commission
On June 23, Legal Adviser to the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Member of The United Nations International Law Commission, Mr. Mario Oyarzabal visited Peking University Law School. During his visit, he gave a guest lecture of explaining how the commission and the progressive development of international law are closely interrelated.
Thammasat University
On July 7, 2026, a delegation led by Professor Supreeya Kaewla-iad, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Thammasat University of Thailand, paid an official visit to Peking University Law School. The visiting delegation also included Associate Dean Amnart Tangkiriphimarn and Assistant Professor Lasse Schuldt.
The delegation was received by Professor Guo Li, Dean of Peking University Law School, Professor Dai Xin, Vice Dean of the Law School, and Assistant Professor Wang Huawei. The two sides held cordial and in-depth talks on friendly exchanges and future cooperative initiatives between the two law schools.Both parties fully affirmed the foundation of friendly exchanges between the two institutions, and conducted detailed discussions on future cooperation directions.
